History
Welcome to High Pointe Golf Course and Driving Range!
High Pointe was established in 1950 by Tom Sculley. It is the oldest public golf course in Madison County. It was originally named Skyway Public Golf Course after the original name of Jackson's airport (now named McKellar-Sipes). It was later changed to Sculley's and remained Sculley's until the last heir of the trust passed away in 2024.
Dart & Deb Longeway took over the course in 1999 and ran it until Dart’s passing in 2022 at which time the course was closed.
Sculley's was reopened on April 15th 2023 and is currently owned/ operated by
Harvey and Brandi Harmon. In 2024 the Harmon's purchased the land and renamed the course High Pointe Golf Course and Driving Range.
