About & Contact
Jackson's Golf Destination Since 1950
High Pointe has been part of the Jackson community for generations. A public course, an interactive range, a place to eat — and always a place to belong.

Our Story
A Jackson Golf Tradition Since 1950
What is now High Pointe Golf Course & Driving Range began as Skyway Public Golf Course in 1950 — the oldest public course in Madison County. From its earliest days it was a community fixture, where Jackson families played their first rounds and local tournaments drew competitive crowds from across West Tennessee.
Over the decades the course operated under different names and owners, becoming Sculley's Golf Club in 1999 — but keeping the same fairways, the same par-36 layout, and the same tradition of public access that defined it from the start. The course closed in 2022 after more than seventy years of continuous play.
On April 15, 2023, the course reopened. The following year the Harmon family purchased the property and launched High Pointe Golf Course & Driving Range — a new name and a modernized driving range powered by Toptracer technology, built on the same nine holes Jackson has played for generations.
